The 2025 edition of the Cyclosportive de la Vache qui rit marked a new turning point in the history of this event, which we are proud to see grow. Thanks to your loyalty, energy and enthusiasm, our event is now firmly anchored in the national calendar, attracting ever more cyclists from the four corners of France and beyond.

I would like to reiterate my warm thanks to the Bel Group, our long-standing and unfailing partner. Their commitment to us, as an emblematic player in the industrial and emotional heritage of Lons-le-Saunier, gives meaning to this wonderful adventure.
This complicity between a company deeply rooted in our region and the community reflects the values that unite us: attachment to the Jura, a taste for challenge and a spirit of conviviality.

I would also like to underline the excellence of the organization carried out by Sébastien Medan and his team. Their professionalism, rigour and passion have once again enabled us to offer participants a remarkable experience, combining sporting performance and shared pleasure. I would also like to thank the volunteers without whom this cyclosportive would not be possible.

It's an honor to welcome nearly 5,000 cyclists to the heart of our city. Lons-le-Saunier, the capital of the Jura, continues to captivate visitors with the beauty of its landscapes, the richness of its terroir and the warm welcome of its people. We're proud to be able to showcase the best of our region through this cyclosportive.

In 2026, the Cyclosportive de la Vache qui rit is back, more ambitious than ever. We're determined to offer you an even more festive, inclusive and exciting edition. So get on your bikes, and let's meet in Lons-le-Saunier for a great moment of sport, nature and emotion!

The Laughing Cow: The stage for laughter and good humour!

Like every year, we're looking forward to the month of May, which for the last 6 years has been the long-awaited Jura rendezvous of the La Vache qui rit cyclosportive, moments of joy, sharing with friends, new discoveries, extraordinary landscapes and many anecdotes.

All of us - volunteers, organizers, institutions, employees of the Bel Group - are very much looking forward to sharing the new routes of this 6th edition of the Cyclosportive La Vache qui rit, which will take place in this magnificent region of the Jura on May 30 and 31, 2026 in Lons le Saunier.

Since its creation in 2021, the Cyclosportive La Vache qui rit has broken participation records every year! More than 4800 runners took part in the last edition, so will the 5000 mark be broken in 2026?

It's a sporting and friendly weekend, with an ever-increasing number of spectators on the roadsides and at Juraparc, a Maison de la Vache qui rit located at 25 rue Richebourg in Lons le Saunier, always ready to welcome you, your family or solo, to share emotions and good humour.
The Maison de la Vache qui rit parking lot is the venue for a host of free events, and the dynamic, cheerful team is delighted to be able to share these moments of conviviality and happiness with young and old alike.

LET THE FESTIVITIES CONTINUE!

After a magnificent anniversary edition in 2021 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Laughing Cow, lovers of the little queen continue to respond to the invitation of the most famous of cows. Our organizing team is particularly proud to be able to offer an event of this magnitude with the support of one of the largest industrial groups in the world.

The 2026 edition promises to be truly magnificent... The runners will pass through the village of Château-Chalon, in the heart of the vineyards, for the first time, before returning to Baumes-les-Messieurs, the Col de Joux, and the lake region. A concentration of the Jura's most beautiful features.

But the 2026 edition also features a major new feature: the creation of a festive 5- and 10-kilometer semi-nighttime running race on Friday. After the family outing, the exhibitor village, the presentation of the Tour de France promotional vehicles, and the museum events, the brand has made a big splash and is expected to further skyrocket its popularity.

The participants' experience is at the heart of our efforts, and we continue to do our utmost to surprise them with passion. Thank you to the local authorities, volunteers, service providers, and partners for making this human and popular adventure possible.
